Christine specialises in the application of business solutions to social problems. A passionate believer in the societal gains embedded in the empowerment of the girl child, she founded and runs Kiama Designs, an African-inspired trendsetting clothing brand which is at the forefront of supporting the education of the girl child. She is the organizer of Fashion Power, an annual Fashion Show which provides a platform to fund-raise for Canadian charities and Girl Child Education Initiative in Africa (through a partner non-profit organization - GDHF). In the fall of 2019, with the support of the YMCA and over two hundred people in attendance, Fashion Power recorded a phenomenal success, and was widely acknowledged as a beautiful celebration of African culture through fashion and cuisine.

You will often catch Christine enjoying a good African movie binge, or doing long stretches of reading of titles by her favourite self-help and motivational authors when she is not busy with work or family. Christine currently resides in Saint John with her husband Emeka, and their three beautiful daughters- Sophie, Rachael and Kaima.
