Learning that matters

Education, Research & Advocacy is how PRUDE turns awareness into action. Through anti-racism training, cultural bridging presentations, and research on racism in our region, we help workplaces, schools, and communities build understanding and create lasting change.

Workplaces & Schools

Anti-racism training that leads to real change

Practical, discussion-based training for staff, leaders, educators, and students. Participants learn to recognize racism in its everyday and systemic forms, and leave with tools to respond and to build more inclusive spaces.

"I came in angry and left with a plan. The honesty in that room was a rare thing."

"The history session alone was worth it. I will never look at our province the same way again."

Emily Ouellette

The presentation was informative and interactive. The students really loved trying to identify the voices to the person and drawing a house with a mountain. These activities really made the students reflect on making assumptions and stereotypes.

The lessons I learned here [PRUDE] extended beyond the program. Inspired by its emphasis on education and connection, I now volunteer with PRUDE Inc., where I strive to give back to the community that welcomed me. This program has not only helped me integrate into Canadian society but also instilled in me the importance of volunteering and lifelong learning.

Research & Reporting

Evidence that drives advocacy

We collect and study reports of racism in our region to understand where and how it happens. Anonymous, combined findings shape our education work and our advocacy with community leaders and decision-makers. Every report helps build a clearer picture.

We're grateful to the funders who make our work possible.
