Four programs. One welcoming New Brunswick.

Our mission is to make New Brunswick a place where everyone can thrive, in healthy, vibrant communities built on safety, respect, and inclusion. Our programs put that mission into practice: building leadership, easing the move to a new home, empowering young people, and celebrating the cultures that make our province stronger.

“NWLP helped me rebuild my confidence, find community, and discover new opportunities as a newcomer to Canada. The program opened doors for me, from becoming a Cultural Ambassador to eventually joining PRUDE Inc. I recommend NWLP to every newcomer woman seeking support and growth.”

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for all the valuable lessons and support you provided. Your sessions have been very beneficial for me. I improved my English and learned a lot, including Canadian history, Indigenous peoples, interesting places to visit with my family, and typical Canadian activities. Most importantly, I enriched my vocabulary, which has helped me in my daily life and especially during job interviews. I’m truly grateful for everything I have learned in your class.”

“The YALI program transformed me both socially and academically. Through the program, I was able to chase more leadership opportunities. I started volunteering, in and outside of the program, finding different ways to make a meaningful impact in my community. I became better at communicating and passing ideas, I improved my active listening, and started looking at ideas from different perspectives. YALI shaped me into a more proactive and thoughtful leader and sent me on the path to find my ‘Why’.”

“Volunteering with PRUDE Inc. helped me grow in self-confidence, cultural understanding, communication, and presentation skills. Meeting people from diverse backgrounds strengthened my sense of belonging as a newcomer, and returning as a Culture Ambassador introducing my home city, Beijing, was a meaningful milestone. Through small acts of kindness—welcoming guests and supporting newcomers—I realized the real impact of volunteering. These experiences helped me feel truly connected to the community and inspired me to keep giving back.”
