International Youth Day

International Youth Day (IYD) is held annually on August 12th. It is a day dedicated to raising awareness about issues affecting young people and celebrating their potential as partners in global society. It was established by the UN General Assembly in 1999 to promote the World Programme of Action for Youth. The day highlights the challenges young people face while also recognizing their contributions to positive change.

PRUDE Inc.'s International Youth Day Celebration

PRUDE Inc. celebrated International Youth Day (IYD) with our Young Ambassadors Leadership Initiative (YALI) youth. The IYD 2024 celebration featured an insightful youth panel discussion, notable guest speakers, a musical performance, dancing, food, and opportunities to connect.
