NWLP-13

On Friday, February 23, 2024, marked a momentous occasion as the Newcomer Women Leadership Program (NWLP) community gathered to celebrate the graduation of Cohort #13. Families, friends, staff, volunteers, and NWLP alumni came together to honor the remarkable achievements of the graduates. The atmosphere was charged with emotion as heartfelt testimonials and inspiring stories filled the room, reminding us all of the resilience, courage, and determination embodied by these exceptional women. Among the esteemed guest speakers were Jackson Enoh, PRUDE Inc.’s Executive Director,  Karen Hachey, PRUDE Inc.’s Board President, Rufina Ajalie, PRUDE Inc. Board representative, Seun Richards, Lorraine Peters, and Michael Sadavoy who joined in congratulating the graduates and offering words of wisdom.

The NWLP journey is described as one of transformation and self-realization, molding the graduates into empowered versions of themselves. Each graduate’s story is punctuated by moments of courage, resilience, and personal growth, serving as a beacon of hope and inspiration for others. Despite the numerous hurdles they faced, the magnitude of their achievements shines brightly, underscoring the power of perseverance and determination.
