June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. It’s a time to recognize and celebrate the traditions, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.

Canadian Multiculturalism Day is a time for peoples of all backgrounds to come together to celebrate our shared values, our achievements, and our mosaic environment.

A day dedicated to raising awareness about issues affecting young people and celebrating their potential as partners in global societyIt was established by the UN General Assembly to promote the World Programme of Action for Youth.

The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.

The Diversity Champion Awards celebrates individuals, organizations and businesses who have proven to be inclusive leaders in our community. We recognize those in the Saint John area who have demonstrated leadership for various cultural backgrounds, visible minorities & immigrants.
